  "The brief was to custom make a sturdy 4 poster bed from timber with a rough-hewn quality. Scott came up with a design for the joints that made the structure very strong but it was the tongue oiled timber that really made this bed an outstanding heirloom piece. He rejected the first lot of timber then found timber recycled from a 200 year old wharf built from 400 year old trees.
